EVENTS: Bull Rider

BIO: Shane Proctor has been in the rodeo business, since he was born. He started riding sheep at 3 years old. Competing in Jr rodeo’s until he got his first amateur pro rodeo card when he was 12 years old competing in breakaway roping traveling with his father and older sister who were also competing. He starting competing in bull riding when he was 15 years old. Winning the year end All Around in the Prowest Rodeo Association and Northwest Professional Association. Before he was 18 years old. Graduating to the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association. When he was 19. He spent 2 years rodeoing for Northwest College in Powell Wyoming qualifying for the college final twice and a year at Montana State University when he made his debut in the elite Professional Bull Riders (PBR) series. Qualifying for the PBR finals 9 times. In 2010 he missed going to rodeo’s and so decided that he was going to compete in both the PBR and the highest level of rodeo in the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association. Which he qualified for the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas 6 times. Qualifying for both finals in the same year 4 times. Getting on over 220 bulls a year and also competing in the saddle bronc riding. Which qualified him in the All Around in the PRCA winning 2nd and 3rd.   He won the PRCA World Champion Bull Rider Title in 2011 and won the NFR bull riding average title in 2016.
