BIO: Gavin Michel was inspired to become a rodeo athlete because of his father and grandfathers success in the arena. He began riding sheep when he was four years old and worked his way through the youth ranks winning three high school state championships for team Missouri and finishing fourth in the world at the National High school Finals in Gillette, WY. After graduating from high school Gavin earned a position on the rodeo team for Texas A&M University Commerce. While competing at the collegiate level he earned a spot at the college national finals in 2018 and 2020 where he finished in the top 12 in 2018. As well as qualifying for the college national finals he also qualified for the Great Lakes Circuit Finals rodeo in Louisville, KY in 2019. Gavin graduated from Texas A&M Commerce in 2020 with a degree in Agricultural Business and is now a professional athlete for both the PRCA and PBR.
