EVENTS: Bull Rider

BIO: OGavin Michel was inspired to become a rodeo athlete because of his father and grandfathers success in the arena. He began riding sheep when he was four years old and worked his way through the youth ranks wining three high school state championships for team Missouri and finishing fourth in the world at the National High school finals in Gillette, WY. After graduating from high school Gavin earned a position on the rodeo team for Texas A&M University Commerce. While competing at the collegiate level he earned a spot at the college national finals in 2018 and 2020 were he finished in the top 12 in 2018. Gavin graduated from Texas A&M Commerce in 2020 with a degree in Agricultural Business and is now a Professional athlete for the PRCA. Since making his professional debut Gavin has been invited to compete at many prestigious rodeos such as the Calgary Stampede, Houston rodeo, Cheyanne Frontier Days, and Americas Northernmost Xtreme bulls event in Alaska. One of Gavins top accomplishments was when he won the west of the Pecos rodeo, home of the worlds first rodeo, for 90 points on Pete Carrs Curly Bill. Gavin finished last year in the top 20 in the world for the PRCA bull riding standing.
