BIO: Hi my name is Riley Smith. I am 15 years old and live in Diamond Springs, CA. I am in the 9th grade and compete in California High School Rodeo. I am a member
of NHSRA and CHSRA. This is my 4th year doing high school rodeo. Last year in 8th grade, I won the District 3 All Around Jr Boy, competed in 8 events, and won 4 of my
events. I competed at Jr state finals, and took Reserve Champion in saddle bronc steer riding. I had the chance to compete at Nationals in saddle bronc steer riding, and
ended up 21st in the world. It was an awesome experience.
This year I am competing in team roping, tie down roping, steer wrestling, bull riding, and am just getting started with saddle bronc. I also am a member of the American Cowboys Team Roping Association (ACTRA). We just ended our District 3 high school rodeo season,
and I will be competing at CHSRA high school state finals in tie down roping and steer wrestling.
My younger sisters and I also compete in several independent jr rodeos during the summer in California and Nevada. It is a lot of fun being able to rodeo with my
sisters and travel with my family. 
My favorite Bible verse is 2 Corinthians 5:20. I am proud to be an ambassador for Christ, and also for Beastmaster, and the sport of rodeo.
